The government wants to provide cooking lessons for all the children from 7 to 14 in England. It will be part of a plan to make them eat more healthily. Different people have different opinions about it.
Emily thinks that every child should be taught how to cook as a life skill. It can also help to avoid being too heavy if they cook instead of getting a takeaway.
Catherine says having cooking lessons at school is a good idea. Not only can it teach children to be healthy, but it also shows them how to be safe when cooking at home. When they are older, they can take good care of themselves.
Ruby says they shouldn’t let the little kids make their own meals because they may hurt themselves. Kids aged 10 and over should start learning how to cook.
Anna thinks children should learn to cook because they will learn “What’s healthy” and they can help their parents in the kitchen.

A School Trip
Attention, please! I have something important to say. We’ll go for a school trip to the science museum this Friday. Here are some rules that we have to follow.
To start with, you must be quiet in the museum. If you speak loudly, the workers in the museum will ask you to leave. Next, don’t take photos in the museum. Because it’s bad for the paintings. But you can take a pen and a notebook to write down some important things. Finally, keep the museum clean and tidy while visiting. By the way, please call 2436-7866 if you have any questions. I hope we will have a good time there. That’s all, thank you.

When we feel hungry, we can take out our phones and order some food easily. When we need to take a taxi, we can also use our phones to book one. It’s so easy. But what will happen to the old who don’t know how to use a smartphone?
With the development of technology, our lifestyle has been changed a lot. Lots of things can be done through the Internet, such as shopping, buying tickets and so on. New apps are easy for the young, while they are difficult for the old. Now China has come up with several ways to solve this problem. Everyone should take actions to overcome this “digital gap” (数字鸿沟).
