A doctor entered the hospital hurriedly after being called in for an important surgery（外科手术）. He found the boy's father waiting worriedly.

On seeing him, the father cried out, “Why did you take all this time to come? Don't you know that my son is in danger? Don't you have any sense of duty?”

The doctor said, “I am sorry. I wasn't in the hospital and I came as fast as I could and now, I wish you could calm down so that I can do my work quietly.”

“Calm down? What if your son was in this room right now? If you son dies while you are waiting for a doctor, what will you do?” said the father angrily. The doctor smiled and replied. “We'll do our best and you should also pray（祈祷）for your son.”

Before long, the doctor went out, saying happily, “Thank goodness! Your son is saved!” And without waiting for the father's reply, he ran away, saying, “If you have any question, ask the nurse.”

“Couldn't he wait some minutes so that I can ask about my son's condition（状况）?” shouted the father. The nurse answered，with tears in her eyes. “His son died yesterday in a road accident. He was at the burial（葬礼）when we called him for your son's surgery. And since he saved your son, he left to finish his son's burial ”

Smart phones with cameras that can take selfies(自拍) have become popular. We can now take every moment of our life and share it with the world through the Internet. However, some believe that taking a selfie is causing people to take risks that sometimes cause death!

Though the problem of taking selfies has been known for a while, it became worse and had to be dealt with on September 21^st, following the death of Frank, who was trying to take a selfie with his friend when they fell off some stairs. His friend only broke his leg while Frank died from the accident. More and more selfie-connected accidents are forcing(迫使) some governments to deal with the problem. In July, the Russian Interior Ministry began a program which didn’t allow the selfie stick(自拍杆). Many museums and the theme parks haven’t allowed visitors to use the selfie stick, either.

Although official(官方的) ways may help reduce(减少) the accidents, the only way to stop selfie-connected accidents is that everyone takes them seriously. So when you decide to take a selfie that appears dangerous, be sure to stop.
