A fox is very hungry. He is looking for(寻找) food. Now he is standing still beside a wall. He sees a lot of fine grapes on the wall. “How nice they are! I want to eat them.” The fox jumps and jumps, but the wall is too high. He can’t get the grapes. The fox goes away and says, “I don’t like those grapes. They are not good to eat.”

A fox is looking for food. He is very hungry. Now he is stopping and looking up. He sees a lot of fine grapes at the top of the wall. “How nice they are! I want to eat them.” The fox jumps and jumps, but the wall is too high. He can’t get the grapes. The fox goes away and says, “I don’t like those grapes. They are not good to eat.”

Stay in a quiet place for a month, go to bed early, drink some milk, walk a lot and smoke one cigar (雪茄) a day.’ ‘Thank you,’ says Old John. ‘I will do everything you say.’ A month later, Old John comes to see the doctor again. ‘I’m glad to see you. You look younger.’ ‘Oh, doctor,’says Old John. ‘I feel good. I have a good rest,go to bed early,drink a lot of milk and walk a lot. But you ask me to smoke one cigar a day kills me at first.It’s no joke to start smoking at my age.’

An old tiger lives(居住) in a forest(森林). Every day he asks a little monkey to get some food for him.

One night, the tiger is very hungry. He says to the monkey, “Go and get some food for me.”

“I can’t do that, Mr Tiger.” says the monkey, “There is another(另外的) tiger in the forest. He tells me not to bring you food.”

“What?” shouts the tiger, “Bring that tiger here. I will eat him.”

The monkey takes the tiger to a big river. “Look into the water, there he is.”

The tiger looks into the water. There is a big tiger looking at him angrily(生气地), “You tell the monkey not to bring me food.” The tiger jumps into the river. He doesn’t come out again.
