We have many special days in our life. We have fun and show love on these days.

For Chinese, there are many traditional(传统的) festivals.

(       ) Dragon Boat Festival is called Duanwu Festival. It is in May in Chinese lunar calendar(农历). People often eat zongzi. It is known for the famous people Qu Yuan and its dragon boat races. It’s very exciting.

(       ) Mid-Autumn Festival is usually in September or October. People usually get together for dinner. They enjoy the full moon and eat mooncakes. It is a very nice festival for Chinese.

(       ) Spring Festival is usually in January or February every year. It’s the biggest day for Chinese. People often put up the couplets on the doors and windows. Children can get red packets.

(       ) Lantern Festival is on the fifteenth day of the first lunar month. People eat tangyuan and make lanterns(灯笼). It is very interesting.

For family, there are also many big days, like our birthdays, Children’s Day, Mother’s Day. . . We do a lot of things for family members（家庭成员）. On ▲ , I usually ▲ . That’s nice. Everyone is happy.

Hello! My name’s Linda. I live in Harbin. People here are so kind. But today I’ll talk about the seasons in my hometown（家乡）. I can do many interesting things in each season.

In spring, the weather is cool and windy. I can fly kites when it’s windy. And I can go hiking with my family when it’s sunny and cool. I like going hiking.

Tom is a cat. Jerry is a mouse. Sometimes they are good friends. But sometimes they are not. It was sunny last Sunday. Tom invited Jerry to fish. Jerry was very happy. They rode a bike to a river. Then they began to fish. Two hours later. They didn’t get any fish. They were very hungry. Tom watched Jerry and asked, “Jerry, are we good friends?” “Yes, of course,” Jerry said. “Then can I eat you for lunch?” Tom asked and he ran to catch Jerry. How poor Jerry was!

My grandpa doesn’t live with us. He lives in the countryside. He has a vegetable garden in front of the house. The vegetables in four seasons are different and healthy. A big apple tree is behind the house. I often pick apples in autumn.

Grandpa’s birthday is on July 20th. It’s coming quickly. He will be sixty years old then. On that day we will go to visit him by car. My father is going to take him to the cinema.
