It’s Saturday today. It’s a sunny day. John and Janet want to go to the cinema. Janet looks at her watch. “Oops! The film starts in twelve minutes. We’ll be late. We need eighteen minutes to get there. Let’s run!”
“Don’t worry, Janet. I know a short cut,” says John. Then John takes her a different way. They walk through the garden and out of the front gate. Suddenly they are beside the cinema. Janet looks at her watch. “I can’t believe it. We have two minutes left. Thank you, John!”
