I have a picture of my school. There is a new building in the middle of the picture. There are many flowers and trees near the building. There are twelve classrooms in it. There are twenty-four desks for the students and one desk for the teacher in every classroom. Beside the building, there is a big playground. There are some boys and girls on it, They’re playing happily.

There are some houses next to the building. They are our library and reading rooms. How many windows are there in every reading room? Four. So it’s bright. Now some students are reading. We like our school very much.

A boy goes to the cinema. He buys a ticket(票) and goes in. But after two or three minutes(分钟), he comes out. He buys a second ticket and goes in again. After a few minutes, he comes out again and buys a third ticket. Two or three minutes after that, he comes out the third time and asks for another ticket. The ticket seller is puzzled(困惑的) and asks him, “Why did you buy all these? Did you meet friends in the cinema?” The boy says, “No, But a big man always stopped me at the door and tore(撕碎) my tickets up. ”

Hi! My name is Andy. I’m a new student here. There are twenty-four classrooms in my school. My classroom is on the third floor. It’s big and clean. There are two computer rooms. One is on the second floor and the other is on the third floor. There is a library on the first floor. We can read books there after lunch. There is a big playground. My friends and I often play basketball there after school. We are good at it. There are many trees and flowers in my school. It is beautiful in all four seasons. We all love it.

Look at our classroom. There are many things in it. There are thirty-three desks and a teacher’s desk. There is a blackboard on the front wall. On the teacher’s desk, there are some flowers and picture books. On the back wall, there is a clock. It tells us time. Near the clock, there’s a map of China.

There is an old man. He has a big and old house. He loves dogs. There are a lot of dogs in his house. There are black dogs, white dogs, fat dogs, thin dogs, mother dogs and baby dogs. Children like to come to his house and play with the dogs. More and more dogs come to the old man’s house. Soon there are too many dogs. Then he has an idea. He gives each child a dog. Then he is happy and the children are happy. The dogs are happy, too. They each have a home.

There are two pictures about our city. One is now, the other one is before(以前的). Look! There was a small park, but now there is a big and beautiful park. And there is a lake with some ducks on it. There wasn't a lake before. In our city there were some old houses, small trees. But now, there are some new and high buildings. The trees are very tall and the flowers are very beautiful. There are some supermarkets and some cars now. I love my city. Do you want to visit here?

Father rabbit and Mother rabbit go to the hill. They want to find some carrots for their child. Little Rabbit is at home by himself.

There is a bad wolf. He comes to Father Rabbit’s house. He wants to eat Little Rabbit. The bad wolf knocks at (敲) the door and says, “Little Rabbit, I’m your mother. Open the door, please.” But the voice (声音) is not right. Little Rabbit doesn’t open the door. Then the bad wolf pushes the door but the door is strong.

Then the bad wolf sees Father Rabbit and Mother Rabbit. They’re on their way home. The bad wolf is scared (害怕). He runs away.

Schools in the US are a little different from those in China. Here are some differences.

There is a meeting in a big hall(礼堂). It is about music. Many people are sitting there. John is the speaker. He is making a speech(演讲). At first, about 200 people are there and listening to him. He is very talkative(健谈的). But little by little(渐渐地), some people go away(离开). After 15 minutes, just a few people are there. After 30 minutes, just one man is sitting there and listening to John. When John finishes his speech, he runs to the man and says happily,“Thank you for listening to me. Thanks a lot.”

“Oh, I am the next speaker,” says the man.
