There is a meeting in a big hall(礼堂). It is about music. Many people are sitting there. John is the speaker. He is making a speech(演讲). At first, about 200 people are there and listening to him. He is very talkative(健谈的). But little by little(渐渐地), some people go away(离开). After 15 minutes, just a few people are there. After 30 minutes, just one man is sitting there and listening to John. When John finishes his speech, he runs to the man and says happily,“Thank you for listening to me. Thanks a lot.”
