It is Sunday today. The weather is fine. Bob and Jane are in the park. It is a big park. They can see many people there. They come here to play after a week's study. Some boys are playing chess on the grass. Some girls are singing and dancing. An old woman is reading a newspaper under a tall tree. A young man and his little son are playing with a toy car. How happy they are!

Do you ever think about our life in the future? Let’s guess together. In the future, we’re going to have different kinds of robots in our houses.

The kitchen robot will cook tasty food for you when you’re hungry. The cleaning robot will sweep the floor when your house is dirty. The kitchen washing machine will wash the dishes when you have dirty dishes. The coffee robot will make delicious coffee automatically (自动地) when you push the “START” button. We’ll have a health robot, too. It’ll tell you what your body needs. It’ll make healthy diets for you to help you have a healthy life.

Next Sunday is Easter (复活节). We are going to have a two-week vacation. I am going to get up early during the vacation. I am going to play basketball with my friends. I am going to visit relatives with my parents. Next month, I’m going to go on a trip with my family. We are going to Beijing. We are going to see the Great Wall. We are going there by plane. I am going to take some photos there. I am sure we are going to have a happy vacation.

Jenny, Lucy, Anna, Tony and Ryan are going to have a picnic in the Hengfeng Park this Saturday. They’re getting ready for it. Jenny is going to buy some fruit. Lucy is going to buy some juice. Anna is going to buy some water. Tony and Ryan are going to buy something to eat, such as cakes, hamburgers, sandwiches and biscuits. Hengfeng Park is a little far. They’re going there by bus. They will meet at the bus stop at half past eight on Saturday morning.

Children’s Day is a happy day for children. They don’t go to school. They get presents. They go to parties. In many countries, Children’s Day is on June 1st, but in the UK, Children’s Day is on July 14th. In America, it is on October 31st.

In Japan (日本), children have many Children’s Days. March 3rd is Girls’ Day. Japanese girls get beautiful dolls from their parents. May 5th is Boys’ Day, boys eat rice cakes. Families with sons raise fish-shaped flag (升鱼形旗) on their houses. November 5th is also a Children’s Day for young children in Japan. On this day, the children wear their best clothes.

Victor is Lily’s aunt’s son. Victor and Lily are good friends, too. They are making plans for the summer vacation. Victor is going to the USA. He is going to visit his uncle there. He is going to take lots of photos in the USA. Lily is going to stay at home. She is going to help her mom and dad with the housework. She is going to play with her friends, too. They are very excited about the plans.
