An old man goes to the same cafe(咖啡馆) and asks for two small cups of coffee every day. He drinks them and then asks for two more. One day the waiter said to him, “Sir, why do you always ask for two small cups of coffee each time? Why don’t you get one big cup instead(相反)?” The old man answered, “Because I don’t like drinking coffee alone(独自). I drink two cups of coffee as if(好像) I was drinking with my friend.” The waiter said nothing and gave him a hug because he felt that the old man was very lonely.
