In the UK, Christmas is children's favourite. On Christmas Day, people usually put beautiful Christmas trees in their houses. There are lots of presents under the tree. People say “Merry Christmas” to each other.
English children like Halloween, too. At Halloween, children wear scary clothes and masks. They go to their neighbours’ houses. They ask, “Trick or treat?” Then their neighbours give them sweets.
Easter is fun, too. On this day, people give children chocolate eggs. Some Easter eggs are big and some small. Sometimes there are small eggs in the big eggs. Children wear beautiful hats. There are flowers and toy chicks on their hats.
