Last holiday, I went to a beautiful village with my grandparents. There were so many trees and flowers. The mountain was green. The air was fresh. The river was clean. There were lots of lovely fish in the river. I went fishing with my grandpa in the afternoon. In the evening, I could see so many stars in the sky. There were nice vegetables there. Our family enjoyed ourselves.

Mother took my sister and me to the supermarket yesterday. We bought lots of things: a hat for my grandma, a T-shirt for my father and two dresses for my sister and me. Mother bought a dress too. We had supper in K.F.C. I ate two hot dogs(热狗肠) and lots of milk. We came back at seven o’clock. I was very tired and I had a stomach ache.

How are you? It’s Saturday today. Are you at home now?

I had a great day yesterday. It was sunny. We had a school trip in Zhongshan Park. I got up at 7:00 in the morning. I had some bread and milk for breakfast. Then I walked to Zhongshan Park. It is near my home. The park is very beautiful. We had lunch on the grass. Then we played games. Mike and John flew kites. Amy, John, Chen Jie and Sarah played hide and seek. Some of us sang and danced. At 15:00, we went back home. We were all very happy.

Tomorrow I’m going to the museum with my parents. What about you?

I go to the zoo with(和……一起) my mum and dad. We can see some animals at the zoo. Look! We see twenty monkeys. The monkeys are lovely. They like eating(吃) bananas. There are(有) five tigers. They like chicken. The elephants are very big. We see four elephants. I like the zoo.

Xu Zheng lives(居住) in Hangzhou. It’s cool and windy in Hangzhou today. He can fly his new kite. Chen Yuan is Xu Zheng’s cousin. She lives in Shenyang. It’s snowy in Shenyang today. She can’t fly a kite, but she can make a snowman(堆雪人).

Kate and Peter like sports. In summer they swim and in winter they skate. They are going ice-skating this weekend. It’s 7: 30 now and they are listening to the weather report on the radio. “It is going to be cold and cloudy on Friday，but it’s not going to snow. The temperature is going to be below zero. It is going to be cold and sunny on Saturday and Sunday.” Now Kate and Peter are happy. The weather is going to be very nice for ice-skating. They are going to have a good time.

This is my school. It’s very big and nice. There are many classrooms, a hall and a playground in it. The library is big. There are many good books in it. We can read in the library. We can sing and dance in the hall. After class, we can play basketball on the playground.

My name is Jenny. I have a great father. He is a handsome man. Next Sunday is Father’s Day. It’s on the third Sunday in June. My sister Tina and I want to make our father happy on that day. He likes singing. So we’ll sing to him. And I will make a beautiful card for him, too. Tina will help me.
