What is friend? A friend can play with you. A friend can share things with you. A friend will help you when you’re in trouble(有麻烦). I have a best friend. We are cousins, too. We have the same hobbies. We like listening to music and singing English songs. We are in the singing club. Then we help each other when we study. In my life(生活), the world is colorful(丰富多彩的) just because she is my friend. She is a tree. I can lean(依靠) on her when I’m tired. A good friend can make me happy.

Mozart(莫扎特)

When Mozart was three, he often had lessons with his elder sister. When he was young, he played music for lots of people. But some people didn’t believe that a little boy could write such beautiful music. They asked him to stay in a room by himself for a week and somebody watched the room. In the week, he finished a piece of music. After that, people believed him. During his short life he studied music, taught music, played music and wrote music. His music made him happy, and made other people happy, too.

Mr Wang lives and works in Beijing. He works hard from Monday to Friday. On Saturday and Sunday he doesn’t go to work. Sometimes he goes shopping in a big supermarket. Sometimes he goes to see his friends. This week he is going to Tianjin with his good friend, Li Lei. They are going to see their friend there.

They are going to take the 9:40 train on Saturday morning. In Tianjin, Mr Wang’s friend Jack is going to take them home in his car. Mr Wang and Li Lei are both going to stay with Jack for the weekend.

On Saturday afternoon Jack is going to take them to visit Nankai University. On Sunday Jack is going to take them to eat some special and delicious food in Tianjin. They are going to take the 6:00 train back to Beijing.

My name is Mary. I am ten. I go to school from (从) Monday to (到) Friday. Today is Monday. I have three subjects this morning and four this afternoon. We have Chinese, Math and English on Monday morning. We have Science, Music, PE and Art this afternoon. On Saturday and Sunday, I don’t have classes. I am at home. I like to draw pictures very much, but I am not good at it. I am good at Math.

I’m Jack. I’m from the UK. But my grandma is from China. It’s Saturday today. I’m at my grandma’s house. I’d like some hamburgers for lunch. But my grandma doesn’t(不) want me to eat them. Hello! I’m Zhang Peng. I am from China. I am a happy boy. My hobby is drawing. I usually take a trip during my winter holiday. I often go to Shanghai with my parents. But last winter holiday, I couldn’t go outside. I had to stay at home. The holiday was long and special(特别的). I had online courses(线上课程) and I was very hard-working. My mum and I often cleaned the rooms together. We ate a lot of delicious food, too. Oh, I was heavier! It was a bad holiday but also a good holiday.

Mike and Jack are going to the park at the weekend. They are going there at nine o’clock in the morning. They are going to fly a kite, and they are going to take photos of the flowers. They are going to climb the hill in the park. They are going to go home at eleven. They will be happy.
