Susan is my good friend. She’s a Chinese girl. She’s eleven. She has long hair and a small mouth. Her brother Jim is twelve. He has two big eyes and he’s not tall. They like storybooks and robots very much.

Every morning, they have breakfast together. Susan likes some milk and some pies for breakfast. But Jim likes eggs and some orange juice in the morning. Today Susan can’t find her milk. Look! Their cat Mimi is drinking it near the table. Perhaps she wants to have a nice breakfast too!

David is eight. One day his friend Rose says to him, “This Sunday is my birthday. Would you like to come to my birthday party?” David says, “Yes.”

On Sunday, David asks his mother if he can go to the party. His mother says, “Yes, you can go, but you must be polite(礼貌). Don’t ask for any food. Someone will give you some.” “All right, Mum,” David answers and he goes to Rose’s house on his bike.

There are many children at the party. They play together for some time, and then Rose’s mother gives them some food, but she forgets(忘记) David. He waits, and then he takes his plate up to her and says, “Do you want a nice clean plate?”

She has long hair and she is beautiful. My PE teacher is tall. He is very strict. But sometimes he is funny. Who’s that woman? She is our head teacher, Ms Brown. She’s very hard-working. But In China, many shops are open every day of the week. The time between Friday evening and Monday morning is the weekend. It is the time for rest. We can’t work all the time. We should have a rest sometimes（有时）.
