   My name is Tom. I have a new friend. My friend is a girl. Her name is Mary. She is tall and thin, She has big eyes. She likes tigers. She is cute.

   One year ago, Jim was ten years old. He studied in No. 3 Primary School. He was a good student at school. He listened to the teachers carefully in class. He did his homework quickly.

But he was not a good boy at home. He got up very late at weekends. He didn’t like to help his parents do the housework. He liked watching TV very much. He often read books in bed. His bedroom was very dirty because he often made a mess. So his mum wrote some home rules(规则) for him.

Now Jim begins to clean his room and gets up early. He becomes a good boy at home.

   My name is Lucy. My friends and I all like sports. Jack often goes roller skating on Friday. May is good at jumping rope. She often jumps rope on Saturday and Sunday. Mike likes basketball. He wants to be a basketball player in the future. I don’t like basketball. I like ping-pong. I often play ping-pong with Cindy.

   I’m John. I'm from the USA. I can sing English song well. I have four good friend. They are Amy, Chen Jie, Wu Yifan and Zhang Peng. Amy is a shy girl. She can play the violin. Chen Jie is from China. She is very clever. She can dance. Wu Yifan is tall and thin. He can draw cartoons. But he can't speak English well. Zhang Peng is tall and strong. He can swim. But he can't do any kung fu.

   Yesterday was Sunday. It was sunny. Ms. Smart went to the zoo with Sam and Amy. There are four people in their family. They're Mr. Smart, Ms. Smart, Sam and Amy. They went there by bus. There were many animals at the zoo. Amy saw a mother elephant and a baby elephant. Mr. Smart took a lot of photos of the lovely pandas and monkeys. They had a good time.
