Hello, I’m David. I come from London. I live in Hangzhou with my parents. I’m 12 years old. I study in Xuejun Primary School. My home is not far from my school, so I usually go to school by bus. My favourite days are Saturdays and Sundays, because I have lots of fun things to do on the weekend.

I will be busy this weekend. On Saturday morning, I’m going to have an art class at eight o’clock. My art teacher Mr Jones is really funny. In the afternoon, I’m going to see a film about space travel. My friend John will go with me. We will go there by subway. This Sunday I’m going to be busy, too. In the morning, my cousin Jack is going to visit me. We will play computer games together. Then we will go to the bookstore on foot. I am going to buy a gift for my friend Bill. In the afternoon, I’m going to Bill’s birthday party. It will be fun, too.

Hello! I’m Jim. I’m a student. I’m very busy at school. I have 6 classes every day. I have Chinese and maths from Monday to Friday. I often do homework and read books at school. My favourite day is Wednesday. I have a PE class on Wednesdays. I often play football and ping-pong in the PE class. I like it very much. Mr Li is my PE teacher. He is tall and strong. He is a ping-pong player. He plays ping-pong very well. He is very kind and helpful, too. He teaches me a lot. Now I’m a good ping-pong player, too.

I’m Jack. I live near our school. So I usually go to school on foot. But sometimes I go by bike. My father works in our school. We go to school together. At midnight, people set off fireworks or lanterns in the sky. On the first morning of the Spring Festival, people often get up early and give best wishes to others. Children often get lucky money from their grandparents during the Spring Festival. They are all very happy.

I have a pen friend. Her name is Anna. She lives in Canada. Canada is a very big country and she lives in the west. Anna is a beautiful girl. She has got long curly (卷曲的) yellow hair and two big blue eyes. She likes dancing and painting. She has got a brother. They don’t live near any schools, so their mother teaches them at home. They have classes in the morning. They often go swimming and ride their horses in the afternoon. Anna’s favourite animal is pandas. She’s got lots of pictures of pandas, but she doesn’t see them. She wants to visit Sichuan and see the pandas next year.

Lanlan and Mary are short. They can’t play basketball, either (也). Bob and Wang Jun are tall and strong. They can play football. They often play it after school. We can all sing songs. We are different, but we are good friends.

Pizza is a kind of delicious food in the world. People from America like pizza best. More and more Chinese people like to eat pizza, too. But we usually call pizza “Italian Pizza” because it is from Italy. There are pizza shops everywhere in Italy. The first pizza shop is still in Naples, Italy. It opened in 1830.

There are different kinds of pizza today. Toast pizza(烤披萨) is one of them. It’s easy for people to make toast pizza at home, Here are the steps(步骤) about how to make it.

● Get vegetables, meat, cheese, jam and bread on the table. ● Cut vegetables and meat into pieces(片，块) ● Put the meat pieces on the bread. ● Put the vegetable pieces on the meat. ● Put the cheese on these pieces. ● Cook the bread slowly for about three minutes. ● Put a little jam, like strawberry jam, on the toast pizza. ● Wait a minute, then the toast pizza will become crispy(松脆的).
