One day, Bob took two of his friends into the mountains. They put up their tents（帐篷）and then they rode horses to a forest to see the trees.

In the afternoon, it started to snow. More and more snow fell. They wanted to go back to the camp. But Bob could not find the way. There was snow everywhere. Everything was the same. How could he take his friends back to the camp? Bob had an idea. The horses! Let the horses take them back!

It was getting late. They rode on（一直骑）and on. At last the horses stopped. Where were they? None of them could tell. John looked around（环顾四周）. What was that under the tree? It was one of their tents!

I like my bedroom. It's small but nice. There is a small bed near the window. The desk is beside the bed. On the desk, there is a computer and a clock. The chair is in front of the desk. There is a football under the chair. I can play football. I often play football on the weekend.

How are you? Usually I get up at 6:30 from Monday to Friday. I often play sports on the weekend. But I go to the nature park in the morning this Sunday.

I walk to the zoo with my classmates in the afternoon. Look! Lucy is counting insects. That pretty woman is my teacher. She is playing chess with Lisa. Where is Bob? Wow! He is climbing trees. I'd like to draw pictures. We're happy.

Today my mother and I went to the supermarket. We will take a trip (去旅行) tomorrow. So we need many things. I need a big bag. My father needs a pair of trainers (旅游鞋). My sister needs an umbrella. We need some fruit. At last (最后), we bought two kilos of apples, one kilo of bananas and a watermelon.

There is a zoo in our city. It’s very big. In the zoo, there are many animals. Look, the birds are singing in the tree. A bear is riding(骑)a bike. A tiger is eating meat(肉). Two monkeys are climbing(爬)a tree. They are happy in the zoo.

Green is an important color in our life. But “green” is more than just a color. It is the color of grass and leaves. It is also the color of most growing plants. Sometimes, the word “green”means young and growing. It is something that is not ripe (成熟). If a cow has no horn (角), it is green. If you come to a new job, you are a green hand, too. Green is also the word to say one’s feeling. You are always good at English, but your friend David is not. If David is not happy with you, maybe just because he can’t be as good as you (和你一样好). Then he is green, Green has another wonderful meaning. If you often take a bus to go out, not a car, we say you are going green. Because you love the world in a better way.

A teacher comes into the classroom and says to his students, “Today I want you to write about yesterday’s football match. I’m going to take your exercise books home with me. Now please begin.”

The students all take out their pens and exercise books and begin to write. A boy called Tom thinks hard. But he doesn’t write down a word. Five minutes later, he finishes(完成). He stands up and looks at the teacher. The teacher asks, “What is the matter, Tom?” “I have finished, sir.” says the boy.

“Well, give me your book.” The boy walks to the teacher and gives him the exercise book. The teacher opens it and reads, “Rain, no match.”
