Once upon a time, a wolf was lapping the water(舔水) at a spring(泉水) on a hillside. When he looked up, he saw a lamb drinking a little lower down. “There’s my supper,” he thought . “I will find some excuses to catch him.”Then he called out to the lamb, “How dare you smear(弄脏) the water I am drinking?”
“No,” said the lamb. “I cannot smear your water because the water runs down from you to me.”
“Well, then,” said the wolf. “Why did you call me bad names last year?”
“That couldn’t be,” said the lamb. “I was only six months old then.”
“I don’t care,” shouted the wolf. “If it was not you, it must be your father.” After that he rushed at the poor little lamb and ate it up.

We use our smartphones to carry out many tasks every day. Many of us become so reliant on them. We even need them when we do anything. But it is bad for our eyes and health to use smartphones too much.
A research(研究) shows that many smartphone users usually start to use their phones early in the morning. They check personal emails and WeChat. And before they get out of bed, they often check the weather, read the news, and send messages to one or two friends. After getting up, they often take photos of food, and even whatever(无论什么) they can see with their phones. They share their photos with their friends. The research also finds that users pick up their phones more than 1,500 times to do different tasks every week. And the smartphone users are on their phones for about three hours and sixteen minutes a day. That is to say, people use their phones for almost one full day each week.
Using phones takes much time and it’s also bad for our health. Many people stay up late to play on the phones at night. And mobile phones influence(影响) our sleep. Without using the phones, many people will feel bad. Many users also find they use their phones without realizing (意识到) they’re doing so.
