People like reading stories about dogs very much. My close friend, Bob, has a large police dog. Its name is Jack. Every Sunday afternoon, Bob and Jack have a long walk in the park. Jack likes these long walks very much.

One Sunday afternoon, I went to visit my friend. I stayed there for a long time. Soon it was time for them to take a walk in the park. We forgot that and Jack became very worried. He walked around in the room several times (几次) and then he sat down in front of me and looked at me. But I still paid no attention (没在意) to him. I went on talking with my friend.

Finally Jack couldn’t stand it. He went out of the room and came back a few minutes later. He sat down again in front of me again. But this time he had my hat in his mouth and ran out of the room.

My holiday

Penny lived on a farm. She was called the “silly goose”(愚蠢的鹅) because she often did some foolish things. She didn’t like the name. One day, she found a book on the grass. She was very happy. She took the book with her everywhere. She felt herself so clever and became proud(得意的). The animals thought Penny became clever now because she always carried a book. So they asked her for help. But Penny always gave the wrong ideas. One day, a pig picked a lot of mushrooms and went home happily. He asked Penny for help. Penny said“You can eat them. They are very nice.”But the mushrooms are poisonous(有毒的). The animals were sick and angry. They couldn’t believe Penny. So Penny lost her pride(骄傲). She knew that it was useless(无用的) to have a book. She should work hard and she began to read books every day.

Long long ago, there was an old man. He was very poor(穷). One day, he was hungry. He visited a farmer and asked for dinner. There were two guests(客人) in the farmer’s house. There was a big chicken on the table. The old man served(分配) the chicken and pointed at the head, “You are the host(主人) in this house. You can eat the head.”

Next, he gave the neck to the farmer’s wife(妻子), “You’re the hostess(女主人). It’s for you.”

Then, he gave the wings to the farmer’s two sons, “You’ll grow up and fly away your parents.”

Finally, he looked at the other two men, “You have to go home. It’s a long way. Please eat the feet. Now the rest of(余下的) the chicken is for me.”

What is recycling? It is to reuse anything that can be used again. Recycling may save our world. How do we do this? Here are some suggestions:

If you bring your own bags with you to the shop, you won’t need to use the bags of the shop. This will save bags before they need to be recycled.

Don’t buy things that can be used only once(一次). Don’t use too much paper napkin(餐巾). You can use cloth(布) napkins.

Put on warm clothes in the cold seasons, dress in cool clothes in the warm seasons. So you can’t use air conditions(空调) too much.

Don’t leave the fridge door open for a long time! Turn off the tap (水龙头)after we wash our hands.

Do you like eating blueberries(蓝莓)? They grow(生长) on bushes(灌木丛). Eating some blueberries every day is good ______ our eyes. At first, blueberries aren’t ______. They are green. They need(需要) a lot of ______ and sunshine(阳光) to help them become nice and sweet. Some ______ plant blueberries in the fields. Then they send the blueberries to the supermarket.
