How are you? I’m in a new school this term. This school is big and nice. There are about 1,400 students in my school. I like the teachers. They are all kind to me. My classmates are polite and helpful. They teach me Chinese and I teach them English.
There are trees, flowers and grass in my school. It’s very beautiful. Behind my school, there’s a small river, We often go fishing there.
We have no classes at weekends. Sometimes I go to play football or basketball with my classmates. Sometimes I stay at home and read some interesting books with my sister, Kitty.
Sometimes I go shopping with my parents. We all like China.

I was born in a small river. When I was young, the river was my home. I did not know my father or mother, but I had many brothers and sisters. I swam and played with them. At that time. Whales live in the sea. They are not fish. They’re mammals(哺乳动物). They are large animals. There are many kinds of whales, such as sperm whales and blue whales.
A sperm whale grows to be about 18 meters long. It’s longer than a killer whale. A sperm whale is good at diving into deep cold water. How long can a sperm whale live? More than sixty years.
The biggest whale is the blue whale which grows to be about 33 meters long. A female one is usually longer than a male one. A blue whale is difficult to weigh because of its size. A blue whale really has a big appetite. Sometimes an adult(成年) blue whale can eat up 3,600 kilograms of krill in a day.
