Once upon a time, there was a crow (乌鸦). She liked singing. One day, the crow found a piece of meat. She was very happy.

In England, the children don’t sit in a line in the classroom. They sit in groups. They sit around the desks. We do morning exercises in China. But they sing songs together every morning. In England they don’t start school at 8 o’ clock. They start school at 9 o’clock.

School life is different between China and the UK. Last year little Kenny went to Chengdu with his parents. They worked in the People’s Hospital of Chengdu. Little Kenny was in the Beixin Primary School.

It was the first day to start the school. He got up at half past seven. And he went to school at eight o’clock. It took him half an hour to walk to school.

The bell was ringing and the morning-reading class was over(结束). Ms. Wang was a little angry, “Little boy, you’re late! What’s going on?!”

Little Kenny didn’t know what the matter is. He said, “Sorry. But in the UK, I had the first class at nine. We all played in the playground before nine.”

It’s winter in Hainan. Hainan is in the south of China. It’s a good place. I really like it. In Hainan, I go to school from Monday to Friday. School starts at 8:20 in the morning and finishes at 3:30 in the afternoon. I go to school at about 7:30. I have three classes in the morning and two classes in the afternoon. I have Chinese, English, music and art. I like Chinese very much because it's interesting. Now I can speak some Chinese. I have some good friends here. They always help me learn Chinese.
