Some American schools begin in September after a long summer. There are two terms（学期）in a school year. The first term begins in September, and the second usually starts in February. Most American children begin to go to school when they are five years old. Most student are 17 or 18 years old when they finish high school（中学）.

High school students take only four or five subjects each term. After class they do many interesting things. After high school, many students go to college（学院）or university（大学）. They usually have to pay a lot of money. So many students work after class to get money for their studies.

There are some extreme sports（极限运动）in the world. People must have some skills（技能）to p1． extreme sports because most of them are very d2． . And they n3． some special equipment（器材，装备）for safety（安全）.

Bungee jumping（蹦极）is a kind of extreme sports. People jump f4． a high tower with some special l5． ropes. They need the ropes f6． their safety. Rock climbing also needs some long ropes for sport p7．. Wearing different colours of clothes can make your feelings different. When I wear red clothes, I feel happy. If I feel sad, I wear a yellow skirt, and then I may begin to feel better. If I wear an orange T-shirt, I may begin to feel glad and excited.

So our clothes can make us feel better about ourselves.

I like casual clothes（休闲服）best. And I like dark blue best. So when I wear a blue sports T-shirt, a pair of blue jeans and white sports shoes, it can make me feel energetic（充满活力的）.
