The Dragon Boat Festival
The Dragon Boat Festival is also called the Duanwu Festival. It is on May 5th of the Chinese lunar calendar. It is a special holiday. We eat zongzi and race dragon boats to honour the great poet, Qu Yuan. Zongzi is a pyramid-shaped dumpling. A dragon boat is like a dragon and painted in red, white, yellow and black.
