   Tom is always (总是) late for school. One day he gets up. “Oh, it’s eight. I’m late again!” Breakfast is ready but he has no time to eat. Tom runs to school. It’s 10:00. It’s time for PE class. He likes football, but he can’t play. He is too hungry. It’s 4:30. School is over. Tom goes home slowly (慢慢地) and plays on his way (在路上). It’s 6:00. Dinner is ready, but he doesn’t arrive (到达) home. It’s 9 p.m. Tom starts (开始) to do his homework. So he goes to bed late.

   Hello, my name’s Amy. This is my family photo. My family has six people. My grandparents, my parents, my little puppy and me. My grandpa is a farmer. He’s short andstrong. My grandma is a cook. She has black glasses and she’s friendly. My father is a doctor. He’s tall and thin. My mother is a teacher. She’s beautiful and she has long hair. I am astudent. Look, this is my puppy. It’s little and cute. I love my family!

   Mike lives in a big city. Today he’s very happy. It’s the first day of school. Mike wants to go back to school. He wants to see his friends. He is going to meet his new teachers.

Mike gets up early (早) in the morning. He washes and puts on his new clothes. Look! He is having breakfast with his parents. Now he is ready for school.

He goes to school by bike. He meets his friends outside the school gate. They are talking about something. Then the bell rings. Everyone runs to his or her classroom.

   We are Eddie and Ben. We are friends. We have two new classmates. They’re Billy and Eric. They’re brothers. They’re twins. They’re eleven years old. They have two puppets. The big puppet has long legs. The small puppet has long arms. Billy and Eric have a big dog. We like Billy and Eric. But we don’t like that dog.

   Today is Saturday. It is sunny and warm. I go on a trip with my parents. We are in a beautiful village. There are many tall trees and pretty flowers in it. There is a high mountain and a lake beside the village. On the lake, there are some boats. And there are many ducks on the lake. They are white.

   It's Sunday today. I stay(待) at home with my parents. I want to help them do housework. I will(将要) make the bed and clean the bedroom. My father will water the flowers and sweep the floor. My mother will cook the meals and wash the clothes. After meals, I will clean the table and do the dishes. It's a busy day for us. But we are very happy.

   This is a photograph of a park. There are many boys and girls in the park. Three boys have some chocolates, some water and some bananas in their hands. The chocolates are sweet, and the bananas are sweet, too(也). Four girls have some cards, some books and some balls in their hands. The lady in white is Miss Green. She is their English(英语) teacher.

   There are six friends in the Green Woods. They are happy. The bird is the singer. She sings songs in the tree. The dog is an artist. He draws pictures on the ground. Look at the monkey. He is so funny. He makes the animals happy. What does he do? He's an actor. The street is so clean. Who is the cleaner? The bear is cleaning the fallen leaves. The parrot (鹦鹉) is a reporter She reports news every day. What does the black cat do? Look! He is patrolling (巡逻) with his handgun (手枪) by his motor cycle. He’s a policeman.
