Hello! My name’s Linda. I live in Harbin. People here are so kind. But today I’ll talk about the seasons in my hometown（家乡）. I can do many interesting things in each season.

In spring, the weather is cool and windy. I can fly kites when it’s windy. And I can go hiking with my family when it’s sunny and cool. I like going hiking.

Summer is hot, but it’s not long. I often swim with my father. It can make me healthy and strong. I can also wear beautiful dresses.

Fall is a season of harvest（收获）. Farmers are busy. And I can cat many kinds of delicious fruits. I like to watch the leaves fall.

Winter comes. It’s often snowy in winter. When it snows, everything is white. We can play with snow, make a snowman, skate and ski. So it’s my favourite season. You can come to Harbin in winter to see the ice lantern show（冰灯展）. It’s so beautiful!

Everyone is having great fun. Tomorrow Mike and Amy are going to visit their grandparents with their parents. They will help their grandparents do the housework.

My name is Robin. I am from Spain. I live on an island with my family. I have a big family. There are seven people in my family. I have two sisters and two brothers. In Spain, there are many special days in a year. Our National Day is on October 12th. Easter is on April 10th. My favourite month is June because my birthday is in it. It’s June 6th. And Children’s Day is in it, too. I usually go on a picnic with my friends on my birthday. My mother often makes a chocolate cake for me.

In China, autumn is from September to November. Autumn is a good season. The weather is very cool. The leaves fall and fall. Farmers are so busy. We are very happy because we have a lot of fun things in autumn. There is a school trip in September. Teachers’ Day is in September. The Mid-Autumn Festival is usually in September or October. We can eat mooncakes on the Mid-Autumn Day. In October, China’s National Day comes. We can go on a picnic on that day. Many people like autumn a lot. How about you?

On the street of Kunming, we usually see jacarandas (蓝花楹) in May every year. It’s time to enjoy jacarandas. You can see the fallen petals (落花) everywhere on the street. I like the color of the flowers. It makes the city so beautiful!

Look! Some people are having a good time in the purple flowers. The women are wearing pretty dresses. They are taking pictures. The men are talking happily. The children are playing with the fallen petals. The girls are singing and dancing under the tree. What a lovely city!
