I have a nice picture of a room. I see some boys and girls in it. Two boys are at a table. They are Tom and Jone. Who’s that in a red skirt? She is Sue. She’s on a chair. Look! Who’s under the bed? It’s Jim. A cat is under the bed, too.

My Weekend

Austin’s school will hold the 5th Parents’ Day on May 27th. The school needs some volunteers(志愿者). Austin wants to be a volunteer. He is asking for Alan’s advice(征询Alan的建议). This is the notice(通知) from the school. Can you give him some advice, too?

Our school will hold the 5th Parents’ Day. It is a good chance for parents to learn about our school life. We need some volunteers to help us.

•Guide(导游)

The guides should work at the school gate and on each floor of the buildings. They need to greet(问候) parents and make sure the parents check in(登记). They also need to show the ways to the car park(停车场) and different classrooms for the parents. It takes ten students to do this job. If you want to be a guide, we hope you know well about our school.

•Cleaner

Because there will be many parents coming to our school, we need 15 students to help with cleaning. They need to keep our campus(校园) clean. If you want to be a cleaner, we hope you are responsible(有责任心的).

•Meeting helper(会议小帮手)

There will be a parents’ meeting(家长会) in the school hall. Before the meeting, the helpers need to guide parents to their seats(座位). We need five students to do it. If you want to be a meeting helper, we hope you are friendly and careful.

If you want to be a volunteer, please get an application(申请表) from your teacher and fill it. Then you must hand in(提交) the application to your teacher by May 20th. We are looking forward to(期望) seeing you.

Today is April 30th, the 1． (two / second) day of our holiday. We go to the Green Expo Garden(绿博园). We 2． (go to / go) there by bus. There are 3． (many / much) people there.
