The Spring Festival is the Chinese new year. It comes in January or February. Chinese people have a long holiday. They go back home and have a big family dinner. Children play with the fireworks for the Festivals. They get “lucky money” from their parents and grandparents. On the first day of the Spring Festival, people often get up early. They go from door to door and say “Happy New Year.” They give each other the best wishes for the coming year.
