The tiger is one of the strongest and most beautiful animals in the world. Before, tigers could be found in Russia, India and East Asia. But now there are not more than five thousand tigers in the world. People kill tigers for their skins and use their bodies for medicine.

African elephants are the biggest animals on land. They live in family groups. They are strong and clever. But they are dying out too. People in Africa cut down the trees and the elephants have no place to live. Water pollution brings problems to the elephants too. Some people kill elephants for their tusks. They sell elephant tusks for money. No trading (交易), no killing. Let’s work together and try our best to save the animals in danger.

Would you like to live in a world with no pandas, whales or polar bears (北极熊)? These and many other animals are in danger. The good news is that you can help! There are many ways you can protect (保护) animals.

First. keep animals’ habitats (居所) clean. Pick up any litter (垃圾)you see on the road, in the park, near the river or the sea.

Second, plant tees and don’t pollute. Plant more trees with your parents or your teachers. Keep the gardens and the parks natural so the small animals such as frogs and birds may make these places their home!

Third, give pets a happy home. If you want pets, give your pets a happy life.

Fourth, never buy things made from animals in danger. Many people buy things made from these animals, like medicines, fur coats and even foods. Tell your families and your friends not to buy these things.

In a word, learn more about animals. Read more books about animals. Know more ways to help animals. Do more work together to save the animal!
